Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release Wes- Anderson’s animation Isle of Dogs onto Blu-ray on July 17th.
Isle of Dogs tells the story of Atari Kobayashi, 12-year old ward to the corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. When all dogs of Megasaki City are banished to the vast Trash Island, Atari sets off in search of his loyal pooch. With help from his newfound mongrel friends, Atari begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire district.
Isle of Dogs features an all-star cast packed full of Wes Anderson favourites voicing the dog and human characters, including Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson and more. The Blu-ray edition also comes packed with special features allowing viewers to delve deeper into Wes Anderson’s world.
