Sony is preparing Underworld: Awakening and Underworld: Awakening – 3D for a Blu-ray release in May in the US, with a European release expected to follow.
The fourth chapter in the ongoing war between vampires and werewolves will also be released alongside the Underworld Collection which is the boxed set of all four films on Blu-ray.
Kate Beckinsale returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.
