Calling all members of Team Edward and Team Jacob! To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the first film’s theatrical debut, Summit Entertainment has announced plans to release Twilight Forever: The Complete Saga, a 10-disc set with all five feature films and enough bonus material to satisfy even the most devoted Twilight fan.
Based on Stephenie Meyer’s hugely successful series of novels, the Twilight Saga broke numerous box office records over its time, and made superstars of its main cast – Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. With an increasingly epic storyline featuring dozens of vampires and werewolves, if you have somehow missed out on the Twilight Saga so far, this could be the perfect chance to catch up.
The Blu-ray box set will contain 10 hours of bonus material to please any fan, including two hours of exclusive new content. This includes new interviews; behind-the-scenes and an exploration of Twilight’s “epic FAN-omenon”. There will also be individual features on Edward and Jacob’s character arcs and each disc will be stored in a commemorative photo album.
A European release date is still to be confirmed but with luck it will be in stores in good time for Christmas. For more information in the meantime, check out IGN.com.
