Blu-ray Disc player manufacturers are continuing to improve the multi-functional capabilities of its players. Toshiba is no exception, recently joining forces with video rental company Blockbuster to offer on-demand movies in its new Blu-ray players.
The latest players to include this feature are the BDX2500 and BDX2700, allowing users to rent from a wide list of Blockbuster movies.
“Blockbuster On Demand, through Toshiba’s Blu-ray players, delivers a truly connected home theater experience. It gives even more of our customers instant access to all the newest hit releases, available the same day as DVD/Blu-ray, as well as thousands of other great movies,” said the company’s SVP and General Manager Bruce Anderson.
