Toshiba adds Blu-ray 3D support to latest notebook range

The rise of Blu-ray 3D continues with Toshiba launching what it calls the world’s first laptop with Blu-ray 3D playback.

The TX/98MBL notebook has a 120Hz LCD screen and a Nvidia 3D Vision kit which includes, among other things, 3D glasses and 3D vision USB controller.

The TX/98MBL will be initially available in Japan only, but plans for a similar model entitled Satellite A665 is scheduled for Europe.
