One of the late 1990s most iconic TV series, the soon to be revived X-Files, is finally coming to Blu-ray in a humongous box set featuring all nine previous seasons of the show.
The X-Files is one of the most influential TV shows of all time. As well as launching stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson into the A-list, its impact on pop culture and high-concept, paranormal TV drama can’t be overstated. The Blu-ray box-set, so far confirmed to land in the US on December 8 (just a few short weeks before the show returns to the air), contains all 202 episodes of the show, plus a huge range of special features including commentary on select episodes, deleted scenes and behind the scenes documentaries.
If you’re a fan, or if you’re new to the show and wonder what the fuss is all about, this is a must buy. A date for the European release hasn’t yet confirmed, but we’ll let you know when we hear more. In the meantime, head over to /film for more information.
