Pixar and Walt Disney Home Entertainment have announced that The Good Dinosaur, the prehistoric animated adventure, will be released on 21st March.
The Good Dinosaur looks at what could have happened if the dinosaurs had never gone extinct. Set in a world where the asteroid which hit Earth, which ended all life, never happened. The Good Dinosaur follows Arlo, a young Apatosaurus who makes an unlikely human friend and travels through a harsh and mysterious landscape, confronting his fears and discovering who he really is.
The Blu-ray will come with a number of bonus extras, including a never-before-seen short film called Sanjay’s Super Team, a documentary which includes some fascinating facts about dinosaurs, and a number of deleted scenes. And having been acclaimed as perhaps Pixar’s most visually striking film to date, it will look spectacular in high definition on Blu-ray.
