The harrowing feature length directorial debut from Joel Edgerton, The Gift, which stars himself alongside Jason Bateman and Rebecca Hall, is coming to Blu-ray on the 7th December.
The Gift tells the story of Simon and Robyn (Bateman and Hall), a young and happily married couple whose perfect lives get derailed following a chance encounter with one of Simon’s high school acquaintances, a mysterious individual called Gordo. This encounter leads to a series of uninvited visits and strange gifts from Gordo, eventually leading to the revelation of a worrying secret which has stayed buried for 20 years. Robyn then begins to question exactly how well she really knows her husband…
Special features will include an alternate ending and deleted scenes, both available with or without an introduction by director Joel Edgerton. Also included is a look at the darker side of Jason Bateman and director’s commentary of the film.
