Brace yourself, Star Wars fans, because the latest film in the smash hit saga is getting its first ever 3D Blu-ray release as a special Collector’s Edition, available from October 31st.
In case you haven’t already seen it yet, The Force Awakens is set around thirty years after the events of Return of the Jedi. Luke Skywalker, the last Jedi, has disappeared, and a new force has risen from the fallen Galactic Empire, known as The First Order and led by Kylo Ren. In an attempt to stop The First Order, the Resistance begins a search for Skywalker – their only hope to stop the spread of evil in the galaxy.
What makes this release special is the excellent collection of special features, which include audio commentary by director J.J. Abrams, a look at the work of the foley artists which worked on the film’s soundtrack, deleted scenes, a documentary about the costumes, and much more.
