After weeks of fervent speculation, Warner Home Entertainment has officially announced that The Dark Knight Rises will be hitting Blu-ray on 3rd December in the UK, with other territories to follow shortly after.
The third and final instalment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman series sees Christian Bale’s Caped Crusader come out of hiding to face his toughest and most brutal foe yet: Bane, the ruthless masked terrorist, intent on destroying Bruce Wayne’s beloved Gotham City. But with a bigger conspiracy in the background and the interference of a mysterious cat burglar with her own agenda, can Batman rise to the challenge and achieve the seemingly impossible before all hope is lost?
The Dark Knight Rises is grand and epic in scope, lending itself perfectly to a Blu-ray release. Special features will give you an exclusive look behind the scenes to see how the film was put together.
