Warner Bros has confirmed that this summer’s box office horror hit The Conjuring will hit Blu-ray on December 9th.
Based on a true story from the 1970s, The Conjuring follows seekers of the supernatural, Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) and looks at the most disturbing occurrence the couple uncovered. When the pair meets a family terrorised by a dark presence in their farmhouse, they discover that not only is the family home haunted, but that the spirits have latched themselves to their entire family, with deadly and terrifying consequences. Critics lauded The Conjuring as one of the best horror movies in years, so if scares are your thing, this could be the perfect Blu-ray for you this winter.
The Blu-ray version includes exclusive special features on how to truly terrorise an audience, a behind-the-scenes documentary and a look into demonology inspired by the events in the film.
