Film fanatics Obsessed With Film last week posted their review of recently released The American on Blu-ray… and what a review it is.
Described as “One of the best high-definition transfers” they had ever seen, they even wrote “It was made for the Blu-ray format, and it is a marriage made in heaven,” awarding it a maximum five stars.
The American is a carefully paced, well-designed and beautifully shot suspense-thriller. It follows award winner George Clooney (Jack) as tries to leave his danger fuelled Assassin life behind him but is tempted back out of the shadows of anonymity by the woman he loves.
The BD boasts and Audio Commentary with Director Anton Corbijn, featurette ‘Journey to Redemption’ as well as a whole host of Deleted Scenes.
