One of this year’s biggest superhero hits from the DC Comics camp, Suicide Squad, will be available to own on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray from 5th December – making it the ideal Christmas gift.
Featuring an all-star cast including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Jai Courtney and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad follows a group of imprisoned supervillains who are recruited by a secretive government agency to fight a mysterious and powerful entity. Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang and a host of other reprobates agree to the challenge in return for shorter sentences. However, the villains must stay united in order to save humanity, which is tricky when The Joker (Oscar winner Jared Leto) is doing everything he can to put a stop to the plans.
Suicide Squad will be released as an extended edition, offering you 13 minutes of footage not shown in the cinema. We’ve yet to receive details about special features, but we’re sure they’re going to be epic.
