Luther, TV’s coolest police officer, is back on our screens for a new season. The BBC has announced that all four seasons will be available to buy on Blu-ray on January 4th, so if you can’t watch them on TV, you won’t have long to wait.
Idris Elba plays DCI John Luther, an unhinged yet brilliant police officer serving with London’s Metropolitan Police. His unorthodox style of policing isn’t always viewed favourably by his superiors. However, his brilliantly analytical mind keeps him above water, as he embarks on psychological battles with some of the capital’s most dangerous criminals.
The Blu-ray comes with a number of special features, such as a documentary about the world of Luther, and a behind-the-scenes look at season four.
