The moment sci-fi fans have been waiting for is on its way – as this week it was confirmed that the latest installment of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek Into Darkness will hit Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D on 2nd September.
When a ruthless mastermind (Benedict Cumberbatch) declares a one-man war on the Star Trek Federation, Captain Kirk and the U.S.S. Enterprise are pulled into an exhilarating man hunt to stop him. Things spiral out of control and as the team face their darkest hour, they find themselves in dire need of a hero to save them.
For the first time ever, the featurettes on this latest Blu-ray release will be produced entirely by director J.J. Abrams. These Blu-ray extras are set to include a look at how the incredible set was designed, and some behind the scenes pieces with stars Zachary Quinto and Benedict Cumberbatch.
