Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release sci-fi classic Serenity on Ultra HD Blu-ray on 17th October.
A passenger with a deadly secret, six rebels on the run, and an assassin in pursuit – all in a day’s work for the renegade crew of the passenger ship Serenity. After agreeing to harbour a deadly fugitive on their ship, the crew find themselves in an action-packed battle between the relentless military might of a totalitarian regime, and the bloodthirsty creatures who roam unchartered space. Serenity comes from the mind of Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Firefly) and is loaded with edge-of-your-seat battles, gripping special effects and fantastic new worlds.
