Home cinema buffs will be excited to hear that a second wave of Blu-rays has been confirmed by Sony Pictures for its “Mastered in 4K” collection that will hit stores from 2nd September.
Titles optimised for viewing on ultra-high definition 4K TVs include Spider-Man 2, Godzilla, Men in Black, Moneyball and Pineapple Express. Each disc promises an exceptionally high image quality, with more detail and an expanded colour space. These re-mastered versions join the ten “Mastered in 4K” Blu-ray titles revealed earlier this year, including The Amazing Spider-Man, Total Recall, Ghostbusters, Battle: Los Angeles, The Karate Kid, Taxi Driver, Angels & Demons, Glory, The Other Guys and Spider-Man.
