Prometheus hits Blu-ray 3D in October

Sir Ridley Scott’s epic return to the Alien franchise, Prometheus, is due to touch-down on Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D from 3rd October in Europe with an 8th October release pencilled in for the UK.

The Alien prequel, starring Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron and Noomi Rapace, explores the terrifying origins of the aliens and just where the crashed spaceship carrying the eggs that ended up on LV-426, the planet from the original film, came from.  The crew of the Prometheus will keep you clinging to the edge of your seat as they come face-to-face with the unknown, in the 3D debut of legendary director Scott. One of the most talked about films of 2012 so far, this is one Blu-ray that’s’ definitely worth a look.

The nerve-shredding sci-fi is expected to include over 30 minutes of deleted scenes among other high-definition special features. Keep your eyes out for more information on the special features, which we will post here as we get them.
