Last week we brought you news that Jaws would be surfacing on Blu-ray this September.
The accompanying video with our recent post gave a great overview of the restoration process, but as Jaws is such an iconic film we thought that you might be interested in the exclusive interview on Pocket-lint with Michael Daruty, Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at Universal.
In the article, Mr Daruty reveals more of the meticulous tasks that the team undertook during the five month restoration process to ensure the maximum quality of the Blu-ray, which now has a confirmed UK release date of 3rd September. It also shows some great stills before and after the restoration so you can really appreciate the higher quality that the Blu-ray will offer over the original.
