From executive producer Martin Scorsese and directed by Luc Bessons , The Family will be out on Blu-ray just in time for Christmas, hitting the shelves in the US on December 17th.
The Family sees Robert De Niro (The Godfather III) and Michelle Pfeiffer (Scarface and Married to the Mob) back as mob chiefs in a vivid and funny reimagining of the mafia movie. When former Mafia executive Giovanni Manzoni (Robert De Niro) rats out his gang to the police, he and his family are forced out of Brooklyn and bundled into witness protection in France. Hiding out in a rural village, the family try to fit in, but leave a trail of theft, bribery and corruption in their wake- making it all too easy for their old Mafia cronies to track them down…
