Undoubtedly one of 2013’s most anticipated cinematic releases, new Superman movie Man of Steel has now had details for its Blu-ray launch confirmed.
For years fans wondered if the world’s most famous superhero would ever make his way back to the big screen after 2006’s Superman Returns, but director Zach Snyder (300, Watchmen) and producer Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight trilogy) have delivered in style. Taking a more grounded, 21st century approach to the story, Man of Steel brings incredible action and added depth to the legendary comic book character. The film stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent and his costumed alter-ego, and a glittering supporting cast including Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe and Laurence Fishburne.
Warner Bros has now confirmed that the Man of Steel Blu-ray will hit European shelves from December 2nd. The film will be available in 3D or 2D editions, with bonus features including cast member contributions in Journey of Discovery: Creating Man of Steel and Strong Characters, Legendary Roles, insight into Cavill’s training regime in All-Out Action, and background on Superman’s home planet in Krypton Decoded and Planet Krypton.
