Heads up comic fans! Mark Millar’s high school superheroes Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass will be back on Blu-ray on December 9th in Kick-Ass 2.
The troublesome twosome cause havoc and mayhem in Kick Ass 2. Despite promising to stay out of trouble and work hard at school, Hit- Girl (Chloe Mortez) just can’t keep away from it. Hit-Girl finds herself drawn to a band of crime crusaders led by Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey) who are tackling violence on the streets of New York. Meanwhile, Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is also trying to readjust to a normal life in high school, but quickly finds himself pulled back into the action…
The Blu-ray will bring Millar’s world to life in breath-taking high definition and features a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround track. We were pretty excited when we saw the exclusive Blu-ray bonus content too, which includes an alternate opening of the film and an unshot scene with commentary from director Jeff Wadlow.
