Twenty years on from its original release, Steven Spielberg’s definitive dinosaur movie Jurassic Park is back out on Blu-ray, and this time it’s in 3D.
If you missed the recent theatrical re-release, this all-new 3D version of the modern masterpiece kicks off as mogul John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) takes steps to open a secret theme park featuring dinosaurs resurrected using the latest DNA technology. John invites Dr Alan Grant (Sam Neill), a palaeontologist, and his family to visit his hidden island but when Sam arrives at the park it soon becomes clear that some things are better off extinct.
Jurassic Park 3D breathes new life into these reanimated dinosaurs and according to critics the movie is “an improvement on perfection” that “looks like it was made for 3D”. The Blu-ray also comes with an extensive range of special features to answer all the questions you ever wanted to ask about the movie, as well as behind the scenes footage and production archives. If you’re lucky enough to own a 3D TV, this is one Blu-ray you don’t want to miss!
The Blu-ray will hit stores from 16th December.
