Paramount Home Entertainment has officially announced it is whipping The Complete Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection into shape for a worldwide release this year.
Although a list of special features has yet to be announced, the studio has confirmed all four Indiana Jones films will feature, complete with remastered HD picture and audio. Fans have also been promised an extensive collection of documentaries, interviews, featurettes and a few new surprises along the way.
The classic films starring Harrison Ford in the title role chart the adventures of an archaeologist and his quest to investigate ancient myths and search out buried treasures. The collection is the first of many Steven Spielberg projects set for Blu-ray release this year. Others in the pipeline from Universal include Jaws, E.T. and Schindler’s List.
