Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced the release of John Carpenter’s classic film Halloween (1978) on Ultra HD Blu-ray. Starring Donald Pleasance, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nancy Kyes, P.J. Soles and Charles Cypher, the disc will be available for purchase from September 25.
On a black and unholy Halloween night years ago, little Michael Myers brutally slaughtered his own sister in cold blood. However, for the last fifteen years, town residents have rested easy in the knowing that this troubled soul was safely locked away in a mental hospital. But tonight, Michael returns to the same quiet neighbourhood to relive his brutal butchering again and again and again. For this is the night of evil, the night of terror and the night of screams – this is the night of Halloween.
