Set in an alternative version of the future where humans are enhanced by technology, Scarlett Johansson stars as Major, who believes she was saved from near death. The first of her kind, Major is a human mind inside an artificial body, built with the purpose of combatting cybercrime. However, while investigating a dangerous criminal, she makes an alarming discovery about the corporation that created her, which casts doubt on her pervious life, and her current existence.
