Based on the best-selling novel by Lissa Evans, the heart-warming period piece, Their Finest, lands on Blu-ray on 11th July.
Starring Gemma Arterton, Sam Claflin, Richard E. Grant and Bill Nighy, Their Finest is set in 1940s London, during the Blitz. With England’s morale at stake, Catrin (Arterton), a screenwriter, works with a makeshift cast and crew to make a film designed to lift the nation’s flagging spirits, and encourage America to join the war. She teams up with fellow writer, Buckley (Claflin), and a fading matinee idol Ambrose (Nighy), to produce the movie, lift the nation’s morale and inspire America.
The Blu-ray comes with two special features – “Flickers of Hope: The Making of Their Finest” featurette, and audio commentary by director Lone Scherfig.
