The second chapter of the Fifty Shades saga – Fifty Shades Darker – is coming to Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray as a special Unrated Edition on 9th May. The film is based on the second book by E.L. James, which sparked a global film phenomenon which has captured the imagination of audiences the world over.
The film picks up in the aftermath of the first film, as a wounded Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) attempts to lure a cautious Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) back into his life. However, Anastasia demands a new agreement before she will consider giving him another chance. As the two attempt to repair their trust for one another and build stability, shadowy figures from Christian’s past begin to circle the couple in an attempt to destroy any future they might have.
In addition to the theatrical version of the film, the Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray come with a steamy unrated version of the movie, including 13 minutes of unseen footage. There’s also half an hour of bonus content, including cast interviews, behind-the-scenes features, and a sneak peek at the upcoming Fifty Shades Freed.
