Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the release of Everest, the epic survival drama starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin, Keira Knightley and Jason Clarke.
Everest is based on the true story of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster, led by Rob Hall. Gyllenhaal plays Hall, who must work to save the lives of his companions after they are caught in one of the worst storms in history. Of course, the odds are stacked heavily against them, given that they are stuck halfway up the side of Mount Everest, making rescue impossible.
The Blu-ray comes with a bundle of special features, including a look at how the cast learned to rock climb, insight in to how the production team recreated Mount Everest, and a making-of documentary.
