Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that the long anticipated Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained will be released in the UK in a limited edition Blu-ray steelbook package on 3rd June.
Starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington and Samuel L Jackson, Django Unchained follows the fortunes of Django, a slave who is freed during a painful trudge to his next plantation by the intervention of a German bounty hunter. The movie trails Django as he leaves a trail of blood, torture and revenge in his wake.
Currently doing the rounds at this year’s award ceremonies, Django Unchained is another slice of classic Tarantino. We’ll let you know when more details on special features are released, but in the meantime visit Blu-ray.com for more info.
