The long anticipated Blu-ray release of 1970’s film, Death Wish has been confirmed with a 40th Anniversary Edition by Warner Bros for initial release on February 14th.
The first movie in Michael Winner’s explosive revenge series kicks off when New York City architect Charles Bronson’s (Paul Kersey) wife is murdered and his daughter attacked by street punks. Hell-bent on cleaning up the mean streets of New York, he sets off on a one-man crusade to fight crime. But he’s soon set on a collision course with the police and the criminals with deadly consequences.
