Universal Pictures UK has announced the Blu-ray releases of Daddy’s Home and Ride Along 2, two of this year’s biggest comedy capers.
Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell team up for this hilarious comedy about a stepfather – Brad Whitaker (Ferrell) – who’s trying to earn the admiration of his stepchildren. However, when their biological father, Dusty Mayron (Wahlberg), shows up, it’s clear who’s the favourite. As Mayron quickly takes the number one spot, Whitaker must work even hard to impress his stepchildren.
The Blu-ray will come with a making-of documentary, and a number of extended and deleted scenes. You can pick it up from 2nd May.
Meanwhile, the Ride Along sequel, starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, is set to hit shelves on 30th May. Picking up in the years after the first film, we catch up with Ben Barber (Kevin Hart), who has graduated as a rookie cop and now has his sights set on becoming a detective. However, his soon-to-be brother-in-law, James Peyton (Ice Cube), has other ideas. But when a job goes wrong, Peyton and Barber are forced to work together again to prevent an entire case from being derailed, while also saving Barber’s wedding day.
Special features will include deleted scenes, a making-of documentary and a look at Kevin Hart and Ice Cube’s double act.
