In the run-up to one of 2011’s most anticipated Blu-ray releases, The Lord of the Rings Extended Blu-ray Trilogy, technology website CNet.com has refreshed its list of must have Blu-ray Discs and box sets… and what a list it is!
Containing many of 2010’s best selling BDs the list is unconventional in that it’s not numerical – it’s just a compilation of their favourites all of which come highly recommended. In amongst the titles are BDs for the family including Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary Trilogy, The Wizard of Oz and The Incredibles. Also listed are ones to watch from behind a cushion like Alien Anthology, Fight Club and Saving Private Ryan as well as all out action films like Avatar, The Dark Knight and Casino Royale.
