With the Bond 50 Blu-ray box-set hitting the shelves on the 24th September, MGM and 20th Century Fox have launched the first copy of the boxed-set on a ‘golden briefcase’ UK tour with the help of Mr. Bond himself, Roger Moore.
Starting from Eilean Donan Castle in the Scottish Highlands, the unique Blu-ray collection will travel in an Aston Martin DBS through iconic locations from the 22 Bond films, including Stoke Park, where Bond encountered Goldfinger playing golf and the Eden Project in Cornwall, which was Gustav Graves’ diamond mine in Die Another Day.
On its journey to HMV on Oxford Street, the Bond 50 collection will be carried by actresses Britt Ekland, Shirley Eaton, Tania Mallet and Eunice Gayson, who have all had the attentions of 007, as well as the much loved villain, Jaws (Richard Kiel).
The boxed-set hits shelves in the UK on Monday next week. For more information on the Bond 50 Blu-ray boxed set’s UK tour take a look at Hollywood Reporter’s coverage.
