One of the biggest hits of the year in cinemas, and completing arguably the finest superhero saga we’ve ever seen on screen, The Dark Knight Rises is out on Blu-ray just in time for Christmas. Looking absolutely stunning in high definition, Christopher Nolan’s epic conclusion to his Dark Knight trilogy comes complete with a full set of bonus features to keep even the most ardent Batman fans happy.
The Expendables 2 (Lionsgate)
Make the festive season go with an almighty bang this year with The Expendables 2. If you’d rather share your Christmas with Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris and countless more action heroes instead of your in-laws, then this is the movie for you. Explosive high definition action doesn’t come much better than this.
Men In Black 3 (Sony)
Here come the Men in Black! Back for a third time, the MIBs continue to be our first, last and only line of defence against the worst scum of the universe. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reprise their roles in this sci-fi comedy which sees the pair fighting to save humanity’s future by travelling back into the past. Also starring Josh Brolin as Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent K’s younger self, this is one Blu-ray that is packed from family-friendly action from start to finish.
