Genre-bending zombie drama, ‘The Walking Dead’wowed critics and audiences on both sides of the pond last year, and is set to rise again as Anchor Bay Entertainment unleashes the first series on Blu-ray Disc later this year.
In anticipation of its BD debut, AMC have released a brand new trailer chock-a-block with drama, tension and zombies galore, showcasing exactly what made the groundbreaking horror such compelling viewing.
Breathing new life into the undead arena, ‘The Walking Dead’follows a group of survivors led by police officer Rick (British actor Andrew Lincoln) as they search for safety from the flesh-eating monsters. Each episode explores the challenges of an apocalyptic world where every day sees characters face extreme situations, surprises and dangers as they battle to maintain a ‘normal’life.
BD bonus features include featurettes on the making of the show, the incredible make-up effects, interviews, a commentary with the director and producer and a whole host of scary deleted scenes.
