For this week’s Blu-ray Monday, we’re giving you the chance to win a copy of one of this year’s Blu-ray highlights, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
The adventure follows the journey of title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome Dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the Wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of 13 Dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield. Their journey will take them into the Wild, through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins, Orcs and deadly Wargs, as well as a mysterious and sinister figure known only as the Necromancer.
The Blu-ray will contain 130 minutes of additional special features, including a full suite of production videos, as Academy Award-winning director Peter Jackson takes the audience behind the scenes, on location and amidst the star-studded cast in a series of video journals.

With another two movies on the way, there’s still a long way to go for The Hobbit saga. While all the roles have been cast and most of the filming already completed, we thought it would be fun to find out which other Hollywood stars you’d add to the cast if you could, and which type of character they’d play. Maybe you could imagine Anne Hathaway as an elf, or you could see Helena Bonham-Carter starring as a rogue hobbit? Perhaps you think that Tom Cruise would make a convincing dwarf king or Vin Diesel could make a cameo-appearance as an orc leader? Whatever you think, let us know!
