For this week’s Blu-ray Monday, we’re giving you the chance to win the Limited Edition Steelbook of the second movie in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight.
Christian Bale, Gary Oldman and the late Heath Ledger take the lead in this tale of greed and destruction so epic it’ll leave you pondering its adventure and meaning for days after. As well as the now-classic film, the two-disc set also has a feast of extras including documentaries Gotham Uncovered, Batman Unmasked and Batman Tech, which take viewers on a 360 degree look at the set design, props, weaponry, stunts and special effects. Other features include multiple interviews with cast and crew on the performances and script, as well as a piece on Ledger’s own contribution to the film.
As usual with Blu-ray Monday, you have two chances to win. For your first entry hit the tweet button at the top of this post. Then for a second entry, leave a comment on this post in response to the following question:
With Man of Steel enjoying success at the global box office, attention is turning to a potential Justice League movie, which could see Batman return to the screen alongside Superman and some of DC Comics’ other superheroes. But with The Dark Knight Rises acting as a concluding part to Christopher Nolan’s iconic take on the caped crusader, how would you like to see Batman return to the big screen? Do you want to see a standalone Batman movie before he hooks up with the Justice League, or can he go straight back into a superhero team? Would you like to see Christian Bale return as Bruce Wayne, or should Joseph Gordon-Levitt or another total newcomer take on the role instead?
