Blu-ray Monday competition: Skyfall

For this week’s Blu-ray Monday, we’re giving you the chance to win Skyfall, the latest (some say the greatest) James Bond adventure and officially the most successful British film of all time.

Released in the same year as Bond’s 50th anniversary, Skyfall is the veteran British spy’s 23rd big screen outing and undoubtedly one of 2012’s cinematic highlights. Just last night it picked up BAFTA Awards for Outstanding British Film and Original Music, with more recognition likely to follow. In the film, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. Daniel Craig and Dame Judi Dench reprise their roles as Bond and M, with Javier Bardem taking on villain duties and old favourite Q returning in the guise of Ben Whishaw. The Blu-ray, in addition to wowing the senses in stunning high definition, will also include a huge range of special features, from documentaries on the making of the stunts and intro sequence, to commentaries and reports from the world premiere.

As usual, you have two chances to win. For your first entry, just click on the tweet button above. Then for a second entry, leave a comment below on the following topic:

Skyfall marked Bond’s 50th anniversary with a bang – so to commemorate 50 years of Britain’s most successful screen icon, we’d like you to tell us about your fantasy Bond movie. Don’t worry about age, the characters’ fate or any other barriers – just describe your formula for the perfect Bond. Wold you like to see Daniel Craig’s Bond take on Oddjob in the moonbase from Moonraker, or Sean Connery’s Bond face Jaws on the steps of the Goldeneye antenna? Or maybe you’ve got a few ideas for an all-new cast or storyline – do you think rumoured successor Idris Elba has what it takes to fill 007’s shoes? Whatever you think, let us know in the comments – and remember to leave your Twitter name to make it easier for us to contact you.

Good luck!
