For this week’s Blu-ray Monday we’re giving away a brand new copy of Bridge of Spies, the latest thriller starring Tom Hanks.
Based on true events that occurred during the Cold War, Tom Hanks stars as American lawyer James B. Donovan, who is drafted in to help defend a man accused of being a Soviet spy. His life is then turned upside down after he is recruited by the CIA to help oversee a hostage exchange for a captured American U2 spy plane pilot.
The Blu-ray comes with a number of special features, including a documentary about the true story of James B. Donovan, a look at the iconic U2 spy plane, and behind-the-scenes footage of the recreation of the Berlin wall.

Tom Hanks is arguably one of the most diverse actors. He’s had a genre-spanning career, landing starring roles in films such as Apollo 13, The Da Vinci Code, Saving Private Ryan, and of course the iconic Forrest Gump. Of all his roles, what is your favourite and why? Did you enjoy his portrayal of Captain Phillips? Or maybe you really felt for Viktor Navorski, who Hanks played in The Terminal? Perhaps it’s a film where he’s starred alongside another huge name, such as Leonardo DiCaprio in Catch Me If You Can, or Julia Roberts in Larry Crowne.
