The Blackcoat’s Daughter tells the story of the beautiful and haunted Joan (Roberts), who makes her way towards an all-girls prep school on a gruesome and determined pilgrimage across a frozen landscape. Meanwhile, Rose (Boynton) and Kat (Shipka) find themselves stranded at the school as their parents mysteriously fail to collect them ahead of the winter break. Things take a sinister turn as Kat begins to suffer from terrifying visions after seemingly becoming possessed. All the while, Joan makes her way closer and closer to the school…
