Big Trouble in Little China to wreak havoc on Blu-ray

Colourful kung-fu fantasy and 80s cult classic Big Trouble in Little China is coming to Blu-ray for the first time on December 16th.

When all-American trucker Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) goes to pick up his friend Wan Chi’s (Dennis Dun) girlfriend Miao Yin (Suzee Pai) from the airport, the pair discover she’s been abducted by an immortal sorcerer Lo Pan. As the pair set out to rescue her, Jack finds himself inadvertently dragged into a battle between good and evil, facing down enchanters, goblins and demons in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Directed by John Carpenter, this iconic cult classic has never been available in high definition before. It will be released as both a deluxe Blu-ray and also as a Limited Edition Steelbook featuring artwork from legendary poster artist Drew Struzan.

The Blu-ray also comes with a bumper crop of bonus features, including newly filmed interviews with John Carpenter and Kurt Russell, a director’s commentary and extended and deleted scenes.
