Walt Disney has announced that its next film to be given the Blu-ray treatment and form part of the Diamond Edition series will be modern classic, Beauty and the Beast. This will be the first time the film has been released in high definition, undergoing advanced picture and sound restoration which promise to deliver the best-ever version of the majestic film.
As always, the Blu-ray Disc version will come full of special features including deleted scenes, music tracks and games.  Specific features are still to be confirmed so watch this space for an update.  Beauty and the Beast will be available on November 1st 2010 and can be pre-ordered now on Amazon.co.uk.
