For die-hard fans of the Texas Chainsaw franchise, Lionsgate has announced that the latest film in the series, Texas Chainsaw 3D, will be available on Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D from 30th April.
Building on the success of the original 1974 cult classic, Texas Chainsaw 3D uses jaw-dropping special effects to pick up where the original movie left off. Decades after the original massacre, a young girl named Heather discovers that she has inherited a sprawling Texas estate from an unknown grandmother. To claim her estate, Heather goes on a road trip with her friends to Newt, but is soon awakened to the horrors waiting in her new basement.
The Blu-ray version will feature a 3D presentation of the movie, bringing the terror direct from Heather’s basement into your living room. In addition there are audio commentaries, as well as an in depth look at the Texas Chainsaw Legacy.
