Good news for DC fans: the MPAA (the board in the USA which rates films) has announced that Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice will get a special R-rated release on Blu-ray, unlike the PG-13 cinema release. This is good news for fans who were worried that the initial release may be a bit tame for such an epic clash of titans!
Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg and Laurence Fishburne, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sees Batman travel to Metropolis to battle Superman, whom he sees as a threat to humanity. With the heroes distracted, Lex Luther sets his sights on destroying Metropolis using his Doomsday creation.
It’s still too early to speculate about special features, but we’re sure that with a film of this scale, they’ll be excellent. Make sure you check back here closer to the time.
