Argo: The Declassified Edition heads to Blu-ray

One of the biggest blockbusters to make an impact at the Oscars, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the 2-disc release of Argo: The Declassified Extended Edition on Blu-ray for December 3rd.

The multi-award winning thriller tells the tale of six Americans stuck in Iran during the 1979 revolution. CIA exfiltration expert Tony Mendez (Affleck) devises a cunning plot to get them out of the country – to pose as a Canadian film crew scouting locations for a new science fiction film called Argo. Affleck directs and stars alongside an all-star cast including John Goodman, Bryan Cranston and Alan Arkin.

The declassified version is set to feature a 64 page photo book, a movie poster and a map of Argo movie locations as well as a director’s commentary, behind the scenes footage and deleted scenes. If you didn’t pick up the original Blu-ray, or are a big Ben Affleck fan, this could be one for you.
