Ben Affleck’s critically acclaimed Argo, already bring talked up for success at next year’s Oscars, will be hitting US shelves in February next year. Although no European release date is yet confirmed, one is expected soon.
Based on true events, Argo details the thrilling covert operation to rescue six Americans, which unfolded behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis in 1979. It stars Affleck himself (as exfiltration specialist Tony Mendez), the man responsible for their safe return and ultimately, their lives.
