Legendary director Danny Boyle’s latest box office hit, Trance has been confirmed to hit Blu-ray on July 23rd.
Boyle invites you to step inside the mind and outside the law in Trance. The film follows Simon (James McAvoy) after he double-crosses Franck (Vincent Cassel), his partner in an art heist. When Simon suffers amnesia following a head injury, he can’t recall where he has hidden a stolen Goya masterpiece. Franck insists Simon consult hypnotherapist Elizabeth (Rosario Dawson). However as Simon’s therapy sessions unfold, Elizabeth finds herself dragged into a game of multiple betrayals and buried memories.
The special features on the Blu-ray are set to include featurettes on the psychology behind the movie, including a piece on hypnotherapy and the power of suggestion. In addition, the Blu-ray will also include the short film Eugene by up and coming director Spencer Susser.
