Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind with a brand new Ultra HD Blu-ray release of the film, available 1st September.
Richard Dreyfus stars as cable worker Roy Neary, who witnesses a UFO soaring across the sky. After his life-changing event, he’s haunted by strange visions, while other mysterious events occur across the world. He becomes obsessed with decoding the meaning behind the visions, as government agents make shocking discoveries of their own. As Roy continues to chase his strange apparitions, he and the agents follow clues which lead them to a remote location where they experience a close encounter of the third kind – contact with alien lifeforms.
