San Andreas, the much anticipated disaster movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is coming to Blu-ray on the 12th October.
San Andreas looks at what could happen if the infamous San Andreas fault, which runs through California, were to rupture. The film follows Ray Gaines, a Los Angeles Fire Department Air Rescue pilot, who has hit rock bottom after the breakdown of his marriage to wife Emma. He plans a trip to San Francisco with their daughter Blake, but is forced to cancel after an earthquake strikes and causes the Hoover Dam to collapse.
Blake goes to San Francisco with Emma’s new partner, while Ray stays to help with the rescue effort. However, it soon becomes clear that it is only the start of a much more catastrophic disaster, one which will force Ray and Emma to settle their differences and work together to save Blake before it’s too late.
